What was broken
Generic résumé builders force signup before users see any value, then bury the actual writing in a clunky form. The friction kills conversion. We needed an anonymous fast-track flow for the 80% who just want a quick upload-pick-pay-download, and a separate full editor for the 20% who want to control every word.
How I built it
Two parallel surfaces on the same codebase: an anonymous SPA flow (upload → extract via GPT-4o-mini → pick from 4 templates → pay via Razorpay → download as PDF or Word) and a JWT-authenticated WYSIWYG editor with per-item / per-section / bulk AI rewrite + generate. Upstash Redis rate-limits every endpoint with both sliding-window and token-bucket algorithms. Admin console drafts emails via OpenAI then mass-sends through Resend. OTP-based referral program drives growth.
